Signs in the Sky - The Star of Bethlehem - Pt 2

I bet you didn’t know that the date of Christ’s birth and death have been found! I encourage everyone to visit bethlehemstar.net and purchase the full DVD. This is an excerpt concerning the signs in the skies. The Star of Bethlehem talked of in the New Testament that brought the Magi to Jerusalem and subsequently to Bethlehem and the Messiah, has been found! It is not the star of the Maitreya or an alien spacecraft UFO. Actual astronomy will be used to present what it is. For a video about signs in the skies and the end times: www.youtube.com God Bless

history is a series of lies agreed upon, so dont trust corporate history. real history is still attainable if you do independent research. your history book is probably going off of the date of Antiquities with the scribal error. if you must use a model based on historians Josephus is the most reliable source for Jewish history and any historian will tell you that. there is not a whole lot of Jewish history outside of the Josephus, the bible and the talmud.

Further, the moon eclipse of 4 BC was only a PARTIAL moon eclipse; hardly spectacular.

Whereas the 1 BC eclipse was a FULL one!

The mystery is finally solved. Here’s the book Larson based this video on, though he tweaked a few things, it’s still a good intro to this fascinating subject. The book can be read FREE in serial form. Here’s the chapter dealing with dating Herod’s death:

Old traditions die real hard like the assumption Herod died 4 BC because Josephus said so - actually he didn’t. The date is inferred from him saying that Herod died soon after a moon eclipse before the spring Passover like the one in 4 BC.

What the majority don’t realize is that there was ANOTHER one in 1 BC & allows enough time for all the events surrounding Herod’s funeral to fit perfectly UNLIKE the problematic 4 BC date!

    God=AWESOME!!

Rick Larson was stating that certain Astronomical Activity in the past, possibly correspond with the significant events surrounding the birth & death of Jesus Christ, which all occurred already.

The Three Wise Men understood the ’stars’ in the heavens as a sign to find the Messiah.

    It’s not divination or sorcery.

Rick Larson never advocated using the ’stars’ to predict today’s events, or to predict the future: that’s astrology, and that is a definite no-no for any & all true Christians.

Prof. Larson infers that Herod died in 1 B.C. - he tells us that all copies of Josephus before 1544 tell us that Herod died in 1 B.C., but after 1544, the copies show us that Herod died in 4 B.C.. Ok, I hear you Prof. Larson, but please give us more proof. Archaeology, as well as outside sources (besides Josephus) tell us that Herod died in 4 B.C.. My history book tell me that Herod died in 4 B.C.. I want to believe in your theory, but I’ve got to get past this problem. Any answers?

Great!? What are the stars ‘telling’ us now?

  8. VideoQuestEx on March 1st, 2010 1:07 am

    Amen!

And I do agree: Rick Larson goes through a lot of trouble, to provide many major & minor details, all of which others can test & verify for themselves.

The Biblical events from Jesus’ Birth, to his Crucifixion & Death, all have measurable & corresponding astronomical events, described in this video series.

This ‘Star of Bethlehem’ program ran recently on the EWTN (Eternal Word Television Network) channel on cable.

Fascinating information: thanks for uploading it!
